About the Role

We are looking for passionate IT professionals to join our dynamic new, young team that is responsible for maintaining and enhancing applications that are used across the SSE landscape. You will be working in a fun, self-managing Agile team with a strong culture of teamwork, support and accountability!

The role of Full-Stack Developer is to build high quality and fully performing software that complies with coding standards, technical design, security guidelines and guardrails.

You will be:

- Designing, developing and maintaining web applications (NodeJS& Angular) across the business, focusing on Azure functions, APIs and application integrations.

- Working as part of our continuous improvement team to add value to our products through development and release processes.

- Collaborating with product owners and team members to define, develop, test and deliver business outcomes.

- Help to define, implement and maintain development standards in line with specifications.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would need you to have:

- Proven experience working on Azure, including: Azure Functions, Azure Blobs, API Management, Azure Active Directory, Azure Data Factory, Azure Resource Management, KeyVault and OAUTH.

- Solid experience of developing and supporting function apps/web applications, familiarity with microservices architecture and solid experience of building APIs and other functionality in NodeJS. Front end experience on Angular is also required.

- Solid experience of releasing code through DevOps CI/CD pipelines as well as creating CI/CD pipelines.

- Solid experience of MS SQL server, including creating and updating stored procedures.

- Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills, following strict coding practise with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures.

- Experience in continuous improvement and operational support roles, with full end to end agile product delivery lifecycle experience.
