About the Role

Base Location: Reading, Havant, Perth, Glasgow, Belfast or Dublin.

Salary: £51,600 - £77,400 / €72,400 - €108,600 + performance related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

We are embedding agility in our ways of working, building capability for a digital SSE of the future and meeting the needs of our customers in a different way. As part of the IT ECS (Energy Customer Solutions) you'll be leading the way in SSE's digital transformation.

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

- Fostering an agile working environment, accelerating ways of working and building capability within the organisation through facilitation and utilisation of agility tools, methods and visual aids.

- Creating the business agility transformation plan. Facilitating the creation of the plan, communicating upcoming changes, and establishing metrics to measure the transformation journey's success.

- Leading and coaching cultural change and embedding servant leadership across teams.

- Leading identification and unblocking of cross product impediments to flow and agility through influencing, advocating experiments, and extending an agile mindset and agility practices.

- Providing input into the governance process itself, including the methods and tools to be used.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Extensive Experience as an Agile Coach and delivering Customer facing or platform capabilities and relevant practitioner qualification.

- Ability to create an Agile community of practice bringing the best of other Agile Coaches and Scrum Masters. Develop and train other Agile practitioners.

- Ability to provide information in a logical and consistent manner with an understanding and ability to work in technically or organisationally complex organisations, whilst driving broader business outcomes.

- Strong experience in acting as a change agent for adoption of Agile practices across technology and business. Ex: Scrum of Scrums, design workshops, big room planning etc.

- Focus on customer service and experience, anticipating needs with demonstrable coaching and mediation skills, and the ability to influence ways of working at all levels of the organisation.

- Strong working knowledge of multiple agile frameworks, tools and methodologies as well as how various techniques can be applied practically.
