About the Role

Base Location: Glasgow, Perth, Reading, Havant

Salary: £61,100 - £91,700 + car / cash allowance + performance-related bonus and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

We are looking for Senior Delivery Leads that will be accountable for the effective delivery of complex, high priority programmes of change in the SSE Infrastructure and Platforms Delivery team, focussing either on the cloud centre of excellence or End User services.

Responsibilities will include:

- Establish and maintain highly effective relationships with multiple delivery teams, central teams and stakeholders at all levels.

- Ensure successful transition to service, ensuring change lands well and meets business needs.

- Lead the delivery of multiple technology solutions (while providing oversight to others) with a focus on tangible business outcomes in accordance with the appropriate methodology.

- Manage multiple delivery teams across end-to-end product lifecycles to ensure that resultant systems/services deliver the specified outcomes, within budget and timescale.

- Provide input into the governance process itself, including the methods and tools to be used.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- The ability to work in environments that are undergoing change, working in an iterative and adaptive manner.

- In-depth understanding of IT products, services and systems.

- Experience in applying both waterfall and Agile methodologies and supporting context, such as governance, process and culture across a portfolio of work.

- The motivation and self starting attitude to deliver change in a complex interconnected environment

- Proven track record of programme delivery within IT infrastructure/Cloud programmes or End User Application Management.
