About the Role

Base Location: Leeds, Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Dublin or Reading

Salary: £44,100 - £66,100 (UK) / €62,200-€93,300 (ROI) + Performance-Related Bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

As an Electrical Engineer you'll be responsible for providing technical expertise in order to manage the medium to long term integrity of high-risk operational assets and new build projects within your area of expertise, where failure would have a major impact on safety; environmental; and commercial operation of the business.

Youll be coordinating all project Electrical Engineering activities and participate in various technical activities such as development of relevant Engineering and Design Standards, review of tender documentation, HAZOP and HAZID reviews and Detailed Design Reviews. Interactions with various internal and external Engineering Disciplines including project and vendors site visits would also be expected. Providing specialist engineering advice to current asset operators and project teams would also be part of your remit.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Previous experience as first point of reference for HV and LV electrical systems.

- Extensive (plus demonstrable) Electrical Engineering and Maintenance power plant experience or new build power plant Electrical commissioning experience.

- Demonstrable independent decision making and sound problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate with a minimum level of supervision and management.

- Good understanding of UK and/or ROI Grid/Distribution Codes.

- Commercial awareness in order to understand implications of engineering activities and decisions.
