About the Role

Base Location: Lerwick Power Station

Salary: £49,559 - £56,757 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the management team within Lerwick Power Station and the wider embedded generation fleet. As the lead E,C&I engineer you will work along side the stations engineering and project teams to run the station in a safe, reliable and efficient manner.

You will be involved in taking projects from concept through detailed design and supporting them through construction and energisation.

Your key responsibilities will be :

- Project delivery and new installation works.

- Plant upgrade and modification.

- Plant maintenance.

- Site electrical authority.

- Develop to SAP level.



What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Previous project management experience.

- Experience and qualifications in Electrical, Control and Instrumentation disciplines (including SCADA systems).

- Experience in power generation and HV plant.

- Excellent co-ordination and organisational skills.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence others.

- Previous SAP status would be advantageous.
