Job Details
Salary: Circa £60,000 depending on experience

The opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity within the MBDA Facilities Management team. We are a busy, friendly team, and keen to push forward with improvements to performance and service delivery, making this is great time to be joining us.
We are looking for someone to take responsibility for the management and planning of the MBDA UK property portfolio, in both the UK and selected overseas locations. This will involve managing all UK property services, in regards to both Landlord and Tennant duties. You will be sourcing and delivering property solutions that match business requirements, ensuring sufficient size and quality of properties to meet current and future needs. This could include the opportunity to oversee projects from inception to completion, such as office fit outs or land purchase.
We are looking for someone to;
- Manage MBDA accountabilities for all UK owned and leased properties, providing expert advice and support to senior leadership.
- Manage critical lease events, working closely with external real estate consultants
- Manage acquisitions / disposals of real estate, including occasional overseas travel
- Prepare and present relevant business cases to exec level
- Act as interface for Local Authority Planning Applications
- Manage a small team delivering related FM functions
What we're looking for from you:
- Experience in a Facilities Management environment and in-depth knowledge of property related matters, backed up by a suitable qualification.
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to communicate and influence at all levels
- Strong stakeholder engagement, building relationships both internally and externally
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, including ability to multi-task and manage timescales
- Good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Demonstrate a positive, proactive approach in all circumstances with a focus on continuous improvement and results oriented mind-set
- Ability to lead a small team
