About the Role
Base Location: Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness
Salary: £32,600 - £48,800 + car /car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available
The duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Project Engineer are:
- To support the Sustainability Manager in the development of the Project sustainability strategy, working with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve the Projects sustainability goals.
- To coach the project team members and wider stakeholders to improve ownership and understanding of sustainability.-* Collate and quality check sustainability data and reporting information from project and contractor organisations.
-Ensure that a holistic approach is embedded within the Project that encompasses people, communities, the environment and a fair contribution to society
-To build a workplace that is passionate about sustainability.
-To stand as a focal point for sustainability technical advice.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Holds a relevant degree qualification in an engineering, environmental or sustainability related subject.
- Have an analytical mind set to support quality data gathering, reporting and analysis.
- Knowledge of the construction sector, with a broad understanding of environmental, societal and economic impacts.
- Working knowledge of relevant environmental or sustainability regulatory and best practice frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
