Location: Reading (Potential opportunities for hybrid working)
Roles:
Mechanical Design/Project Engineer: £35,000 - £50,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)
Mechanical Engineering Manager: £45,000 - £70,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)
Mechanical Senior Engineering Manager : £58,000 - £90,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

Whilst not to be considered a checklist, we are interested in hearing from candidates who can demonstrate knowledge or experience in several of the following areas:
Education and experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
Hands on relevant commercial experience in a similar role with a mechanical bias.
Familiar with high regulated industries such as: Nuclear, oil, Gas, Rail, Pharma etc
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g Inventor, Solidworks etc) and other relevant design tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex engineering challenges.
Communication and Leadership:
Excellent Communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
For management roles, demonstrate exceptional leadership, mentoring and team -building capabilities.
Project Management:
Proven ability to manage projects, including planning, execution, and successful delivery.
Strong project management skills, including resource allocation, task prioritisation, and risk mitigation.
Innovation and continuous Learning:
A passion for innovation and staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving engineering practices and methodologies.
Importance of contributing toward continuous/Process improvement.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to analyse complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
Strong decision-making skills, especially in high pressure situations.
Experience specific to each role:
Mechanical Design Engineer:
Working experience of mechanical design and engineering.
Experience in creating detailed design documentation, 3D models, drawings and specifications.
Mechanical Engineering Manager:
Proven track record of managing engineering projects.
Strong leadership skills and experience guiding and mentoring engineering teams.
Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager:
Significant portion of career spent in managerial or leadership roles.
Visionary thinking, strategic mindset, and experience leading multiple engineering teams.
Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
