Senior Systems Engineer

Steatite Limited are seeking Senior System Engineers to join our systems and communications teams based in Redditch, Worcestershire. As part of a newly formed engineering team, you will be able to put your knowledge and engineering experience to good use.  You will be responsible for overseeing rugged industrial and military grade computing and communications products through design and development, concept through to implementation. 

Our ideal candidate will have a degree in electrical/electronic engineering or be able to demonstrate significant relevant experience. You will have a good understanding of EMC, particularly in systems design, and be competent at producing accurate and professional documentation. Playing an active role in design reviews, both internal and customer facing, you will also work with external suppliers and manufacturers to build and maintain strong working relationships.

Experience of working in defence would be advantageous, but is not essential. What is essential is your knowledge of Project, Systems Engineering and business life-cycle, coupled with an understanding of engineering activities at each stage of the life-cycle. Excellent attention to detail and a conscientious mindset is also vital.  Due to the nature of some of the projects you will be working on, you must have current Security Clearance or be eligible to undergo this.
