Salary: Circa £33,000 per annum + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

What is the Role?

As an Engineering graduate joining SSE within our Distribution business you will be at the forefront of building a better world of energy for future generations. Graduates will follow either a generalist or specialist pathway depending on preferred business area, career aspirations and future role opportunities within the business. Generalists will gain exposure across multiple departments throughout a 2-year programme, shaping the programme to suit your individual interests and career goals. Specialists will work with experts in their specialism, gaining exposure within a business area for the duration of their graduate programme which can last between 12 months and 2 years. Both pathways have the aim of providing experience that will lead to a substantive post.

Our Distribution engineering programme has opportunities for electrical engineering graduates in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Inverness, Elgin, Aldershot, Basingstoke Perth, Melksham, Slough, Swindon, Poole, Salisbury, Reading and Portsmouth. Candidates for the distribution programme must be willing and able to relocate to the role location prior to the start of the prior to and throughout the programme.
