Starting Salary: £42,501 / £48,336 with the opportunity to earn: £44,574 / £50,810 + an annual company bonus of up to £4k.
Working Pattern: Days (37.5 hours per week, typical hours are 07:30 – 15:40 or 08:10 – 16:20)

Reliability Engineers:
Reliability Engineers support the delivery of an engineering reliability service, increasing the mean time between repair of assets and equipment reliability process to enable the development and maintenance of asset strategies to meet business requirements.
Principle Accountabilities Include:
- Support the development of modifications including identification of need, requirements and design work to enable optimal system performance.
- Contribute to the review all design proposals, testing and installation procedures and modification reviews providing technical guidance as required to ensure effective and smooth change transitions.
- Review and maintain the asset register and configuration management of the defined assets to enable optimal system performance.
- Verify the alignment between risk assessments cases, engineering schedule and maintenance management system is current and valid.
- Comply with legal obligations such as PUWER, LOLER, PSSR’s, Legionella, etc. regulations are clearly understood, appropriate arrangements implemented and managed across the site physical assets.
- Establish asset condition and collaborate with asset management colleagues to assess and understand asset life and recommend risk management strategies to enable appropriate asset use.
- Support the development of, implement and maintain asset strategies for their assigned system / equipment to meet business requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate asset performance for example through observation, review of work logs and histories and regular walk downs to maintain awareness of current condition, performance and environmental impacts.
- Identify issues with assets, engaging with specialists, to initiate appropriate mitigation and implement and maintain common asset strategies to maximise business benefit.
- Prepare and present periodic health reports and maintain long range plans for the assets to ensure optimal asset performance.

The Ideal Candidate: We’re looking for people that have good knowledge in Engineering, whether this may be through direct experience, or through transferable skills.
Essential Skills:
- Higher level qualification or equivalent training/experience in an Engineering/Maintenance discipline.
- Demonstrable understanding and application of Equipment Reliability processes or provision of support to front line maintenance delivery.
- Demonstrable experience of ensuring / improving plant and equipment reliability and availability.
- Demonstrable experience of acting as a subject matter expert for both internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable Skills:
- Chartered / Incorporated Engineer status or potential to achieve with an accredited professional institute.
- Engineering qualification and experience in Engineering/Maintenance role or an environment of similar context and complexity.
- Demonstrable evidence of acting as a role model to promote and challenge behaviours and change.
- Demonstrable evidence of complying with appropriate regulations, standards and policies.
