What is the Role?

The role of a Senior AI Developer is to build high quality and fully performing software that complies with coding standards, technical design and security guidelines and guardrails. Provide leadership and accountability for ensuring the ongoing maintenance, and developed service improvements to, our core applications. To analyse system requirements and to design, test, code and modify very complex programmes and scripts to agreed company standards. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, able to undertake technical leadership (high level business analysis and application design) and co-ordination of technical development within product lifecycle, and/or system maintenance tasks. Defines development standards in line with specifications. Collaborating with product leadership roles to deliver business outcomes in agile, DevOps environment as part of a team. Continuously improve the way software is delivered within the organisation.

Key Accountabilities

- Deliver product backlog items across the end-to-end products as part of an agile in a DevOps environment

- Setting priorities and managing systems maintenance activities, by leading the process of detailed technical planning.

- Ensuring user requirements are comprehensive, analysed and enabling the desired outcome.

- Undertaking complex systems designs and leading the development process within the multi-disciplinary teams to undertake detailed analysis and coding activities.

- Diagnosing and resolving problems with applications systems (both internal and third party) in the production environment.

- Supporting team members in the fixing of faults as appropriate.

- Coding programs according to industry standards and specifications.

- Developing test plans and test data and conducting tests.

- Using development knowledge to analyse and help to create business environments.

What Do I Need?

- Knowledge in .NET Framework, C# is a must.

- In depth knowledge in Azure Services.

- Experience in using Power Platform, PVA, UiPath, and RPA development are crucial.

- Experience in Dynamics 365 is preferred.

- A deep understanding of machine learning concepts is essential.

- Experience in data manipulation, cleansing and pre-processing.

- Applying industry best practices, automation and patterns across infrastructure and application components e.g., security, elasticity, performance.

- Familiarity with configuring and using Monitoring tools to support the releases (any tools but preference for Azure monitor, App Insights, Log Analytics) can also be beneficial.

- Extensive Phyton development experience with in-depth knowledge of data driven projects.

- Microsoft Azure certifications are a plus.

- Experience from a similar senior / lead development role in supporting business critical systems in a medium/large organisation.

- Collaborated with diverse stakeholders and team members to deliver complex technical solutions in agile environments using DevOps tools.
