And as we research, develop and supply this cutting-edge technology to organisations, our services inadvertently impact millions of lives each and every day. And that’s where you come in. An engineer ready and willing to advance your career in every sense of the word ‘life-changing’.
As a Systems Engineer you’ll be an instrumental part in our activities across the full lifecycles for Submarines, Surface Ships, Airborne Sonar, and Command and Control Systems. Reporting to the Systems Engineering Discipline Manager, you’ll identify and review technical risks, opportunities and mitigation plans across project phases and work to define and propose candidate architecture collating and organising your work and results as you go. This may be anything from the design, integration, verification, validation, qualification, certification or acceptance methods and your work will create the technical specifications criteria for our systems and subsystems.
With a relevant Higher Education qualification, you’ll have a firm understanding of a range of engineering processes and practices. Your experience and skills will extend to inter-personal communication and support your ability to distil complex ideas clearly. Comfortable working within detailed conceptual design environments you’ll have demonstrable experience of integration and delivery, plus a proven capacity to deliver work on time as part of a team and independently. You’ll be confident working with various analogue and digital technology and be able to integrate and verify these in a logical and structured way.
We’re passionate about the brilliant opportunities we provide. And we’ll be there to support you every step of the way. Offering training courses across a range of specialisms that exist so you can thrive.
