Job Profile

We have openings for Software Engineers working either as frontend developers or full stack engineers on high profile projects of national importance, using JavaScript and it's associated frameworks/libraries, XHTML, and CSS

Our engineers are responsible for delivering cutting-edge, optimised, web desktop and mobile experiences that look and perform superbly across all platforms. This position will involve using the latest technologies to deliver an exceptional engineering capability and solution to our clients.

This role works closely with both external clients and internal, cross-functional teams on projects that range from a few months to several years in length.

We want you to be more than an engineer. All our team members are challenged to use their expertise, experience, insight and desire to collaborate in order to clearly communicate technical information, functionality, and limitations to non-technical audiences, whilst influencing the overall implementation.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Strong experience in either web frontend development or backend API development
  
• Good knowledge of XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript or a backend technology (Node/Java)
  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Application development and optimisation
• Conducting reviews of supplied requirements and specifications.
• Providing accurate estimates of development effort required.
• Reviewing design and code outputs from colleagues
• Shared accountability for engineering best practice within the team.
• Communicating with other team members, internal staff, and external clients.
• Building relationships with stakeholders.

Experience in any of the following areas would also be advantageous:

• CSS
• x Cross Browser compatibility
• Accessibility
• Agile development patterns
