About the Role
Base Location: Perth, Inveralmond House
Salary: £55,573 - £63,643 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family. Relocation packages for suitable candidates.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time
Reporting to the System Operations Manager the EHV Distribution Control Engineer is responsible for the safe operation and monitoring of the electrical distribution network. This includes all voltages up to and including 33kV where you will need to manage infrastructure of critical national importance. The control engineers main duties are:
- Always ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Undertake live operational work duties.
- Manage distributed generation and network stability.
- Complete accurate fault reporting.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- A distribution control authorisation or significant distribution SAP field experience.
- A sound understanding of the distribution codes and procedures.
- Possess excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Have or are working towards a HNC level qualification in Engineering or significant technical experience in the industry.
Candidates for this role will be required to obtain vetting to SC level through UK Government. The criteria normally includes 5 years UK residency, further information can be found here: United Kingdom Security Vetting: Applicant - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
