Salesforce Tester & Developer (1 Year Contract)

About The Team:

The Customer Management Systems team is part of the IT organisation, responsible for managing the portfolio of Business Systems that support Customer facing teams (Salesforce, Service Cloud, Marketo, Docusign etc.) deliver their job more effectively. We work closely with business stakeholders to plan, deliver and support functionality continuously through Agile and DevOps practices.

The role holder:

• You are playing both role as tester and developer.
• You are collaborate with Agile teams to create comprehensive test plans to align with project objectives and timelines.
• You are working closely with Tester Lead to participant in regression test and process documentation.
• You are participating and involving in initiative process to design and develop automated test using test automation frameworks.
• The role required basic programming skill to support development tasks and automated test.
• You are responsible to involve in hand-on development task if the Agile team need helps. Development task focus on operate, change and grow software/application that has either been developed, customized or configured to add value to the customer.
• You will be involved in supporting users and implementing changes under guidance and servant leaderships of Product Owner, Product Architect and the Product Delivery Lead.

Core Duties

• You are tester and developer role

• You will be involved in supporting users and implementing changes under guidance and servant leaderships of Product Owner, Product Architect and the Product Delivery Lead.
• You will work in a highly collaborative, visible and measured environment and will stimulate experimentation, innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Accountabilities

• Executes test cases and document outcomes.
• Develop detailed test plans and cases.
• Works with developers to reproduce issues and provide input.
• Verifies defects to confirm they have been fixed.
• Completes debug root cause analysis.
• Designing and developing automated test using test automation frameworks.
• Understand the business requirements provide solutions for the implementation in the test automation.
• Creates, maintains, executes, and analyzes manual/automation test cases. Runs regression tests.
• Peform feature demo to Agile team and business stakeholder during project timeline.
• Have accountability for developing, configuring & supporting new and existing functionality of our Internal Salesforce Platform including custom objects, custom fields, formulas, workflows, processes & flows, page layouts, validation rules, assignment rules, and analytics.
• Manages Salesforce.com administration, including but not limited to: user roles, security, profiles, fields/relationships, workflow rules, processes & flows, page layouts, validation rules, email templates, custom buttons.
• Step in to involve in hand-on development to align with project timelines.
• Maintain code integrity and organization using version control tools like Git.
• Contributes ideal to support continuos improvement on process.

Subject Knowledge and Qualifications

• Knowledge of test automation frameworks.
• Test automation experience is a plus.
• Good foundation knowledge of Java or Python would be added advantage.
• Previous experience working under Agile, Scrum, Kanban.
• A good understanding of the sales process
• Good understanding of Version Control like GIT.
• Jira, Confluence: Basic knowledge with these tools that are used to organize your work, documentation / knowledge base, etc.

Skills:

• Certified as Salesforce Developer is a plus
• Certified as Salesforce Administrator is a plus.
• Proven self-starter, good listener, highly motivated, and team player.
• You have high degree of problem-solving skills, solutions oriented with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Capable of quickly learning new systems, tools, and methodologies
• Strong communication and presenting skills
• Ability to anticipate and mitigate risk well in advance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• More than 1 year of relevant working experience with development experience background.
• Basic programming experience would be added advantage.
• Familiar with test automation frameworks. (Example : Playwright , Selenium etc)
