Join a pioneering team at the forefront of cell and gene product innovation, and spearhead technically challenging, multi-phase, development projects.
TTP is a collaborative consultancy driven by a passion for cutting-edge product development. As part of our Cell & Gene team you will take a leading role in developing bespoke, innovative hardware solutions in the field of cell and gene therapies. We combine biology, engineering, and physical sciences to create ground-breaking solutions such as scalable manufacturing systems to help fight cancer. You’ll be involved in the full product development lifecycle, from requirement capture to delivering prototypes ready for manufacture. We’re truly interdisciplinary – you’ll be working closely with life scientists and engineers to realise the projects.
As a Technical Project Leader you’ll take full ownership of a project, from managing the client relationship to project delivery. You ensure we’re delivering technical brilliance but you’ll always have the opportunity to remain hands-on. You’ll also be encouraged to propose and develop entirely new technological and commercial offerings.
About you
We’re looking for someone who can independently lead large, multi-disciplinary project teams, working at the interface of biology and engineering, while also carrying out hands-on development work. Your experience working within Cell & Gene will have given you deep market and technology insight and will enable you to uncover valuable new business opportunities and even new areas of technology for us.
You’re:
- A technical specialist in an area that is translatable to the Cell and Gene field
- Able to lead and shape high-pressure and always evolving projects
- Able to act as coach, advisor, interpreter, advocate and confidant for the client
We expect you will bring:
- Experience leading complex technical projects in the cell & gene or wider biotechnology field
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets and resources effectively
- Business development expertise or experience of developing customer relationships
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- An excellent academic record with a degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline
- Willingness to travel internationally
