Job Details
AWE is currently recruiting for a Condition-based Maintenance (CBM) Implementation Manager to provide leadership of a professional engineering service in support of the company's strategic goals.
Location: Aldermaston, Berkshire
Package: £62,020 - £85,000pa (dependant on suitability and level of experience)
What will the CBM Implementation Manager doing?
You will be a focal point and signpost for advice, information and expertise about policy, best practice, engineering knowledge and standards
Provide due governance and management to meet relevant Nuclear Licence Conditions, safety codes and quality standards
Stakeholder liaison across the scope of CBM work deployment
Design and implement (with suitable resources) training programmes for CBM and reliability engineering
Being an active member (as required) of the facility Asset Change Board(s), making decisions on changes and recognising their impact
Functional/task management to meet the professional standards, performance and integrity of the work and reporting information necessary to support the business objectives
Ensure compliance with Company Assurance Environment, Safety, Health and Quality (ESH&Q) and statutory requirements
Support the Department Group Leader to ensure that appropriate resources are identified and allocated to meet business requirements; elevating areas of concern where appropriate
Provide improvement mechanisms based on current operating experience, wider UK commercial best practices and peer nuclear and explosive licensed organisations
Provide leadership and optimise the delivery of engineering service
Support and maintain a culture of zero accidents or incidents relating to occupational and personal safety, security, health issues and environmental matters
We'd love to hear from individuals with the following:
An engineering-related qualification, ideally degree level
Previous experience of working in a technical environment with responsibility for the engineering lifecycle
The ability to articulate technical complexities
Able to chair technical and general meetings and direct work to meet the programme
Ability to deliver engineering capability across a manufacturing and/or research environment comprising a range of infrastructure and associated manufacturing and/or research plant and equipment
A reasonable understanding and ability to apply applicable legislation and standards relevant to safety within engineering (e.g. HSAWA, CDM)
Effective at leading multi-discipline groups
An awareness of supply chain methodologies
