Base Location: Portsmouth, Southampton, Aldershot, Petersfield, Thatcham, Melksham or the New Forest.
Salary: £46,626 - £54,154 + car/cash allowance + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

We are looking for a Team Manager to join our team!
As Team Manager, you will be responsible for the safety and welfare of a team of 132kV Overhead Linespersons.
We are looking for a highly organised individual with an open, honest and positive communication style who has the ability to engage at all levels.
Roles & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead, motivate, and empower your team to deliver and achieve their full potential by actively encourage staff engagement, team building and the recognition of excellent performance.
- Team management including timesheet submission, compliance and administration duties.
- Ensuring effective customer service, dealing with stakeholders, dispute/conflict resolution.
- Management of contractors and other third-party service providers.
- Running of financial reports, raising purchase orders , tools and equipment management/procurement.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Great people management skills and a proven track record of leading, coaching and motivating teams.
- A strong health and safety mindset, with values that align with those of SSE and our Safety family culture, coupled with experience of integrating and maintaining these within an operational environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office 365, Teams and data analytical skills to ensure accurate and timely reporting through different systems.
- The ability to identify and resolve problems with excellent organisational skills.
- Experience of working on Electrical networks up to 132kV would be advantageous but not essential as training can be provided.
Travel is required and as a result we can only accept applications from candidates that hold a current driving licence.
