Senior Business integration Lead - Quality

AWE has a unique opportunity for Senior Business Integration Lead reporting to the Director of Quality, accountable for setting the strategic direction and subsequent deployment of the requisite Quality service across the relevant business area. To lead a team of quality professionals and being the single accountable person for providing appropriate competence and capability to ensure effective and efficient execution of quality delivery whilst maintaining a consistent and high degree of customer satisfaction and compliance with regulatory expectations.

  • Accountable for the development, implementation, and maintenance of strategic improvement plans for the programme, projects, and functions they support, feeding into the overall sub-functional strategy.
  • Accountable for leading, managing and developing a team in the provision of a quality service defining appropriate plans and objectives to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved and maintained.
  • Accountable for an effective and efficient interface between the Quality Director and the programme, projects and functions they support.
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction on the Quality service delivery model in the relevant business area.
  • Drive an optimised and cohesive approach to delivery through collaborative working.
  • Strategic resource management to maximise utilisation and efficiency of service delivery, including identifying future capability requirements in line with the programme.
  • Accountable for making informed resourcing decisions via service level arrangements based on a clear understanding of programme and/or function objectives and requirements.
  • Focus on driving efficiencies in the quality service delivery through working closely with relevant business area to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Provide strategic quality advice and guidance to customers, including product conformity.

To be considered for the role you will have some of the following skills and experience -

  • Excellent stakeholder, influencing and resource management skills.
  • Ability to work strategically, developing and deploying a plan from a blank sheet of paper.
  • Creative and innovative, helping others to stretch, 'vision' and simplify the way the quality service delivered.
  • Capable of delivering appropriate solutions in a cost effective and efficient way.
  • Degree level qualification in relevant subject or knowledge and extensive experience in leadership / operations background.
  • Comprehensive experience of working with Directors, senior leaders and wider stakeholders.
  • Broad experience in strategic change management
  • Experience of quality assurance, control, and management.
  • Leadership and People management experience.
  • Experience of developing and analysing data, to support and inform strategic decision making.
