Job Details

We are looking for a Salesforce Developer to design, implement and maintain Salesforce applications to enhance client's CRM functionality and improve their user experience within the Salesforce platform, providing custom solutions for specific business requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Development in Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components and Visualforce to extend Salesforce to support business requirements
  • Application development, including Visualforce pages / Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components
  • Designing CRM workflows
  • Owning and running release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code
  • Integrating Salesforce with business applications (e.g. DocuSign, Mailchimp and others)
  • Testing (unit and systems), debugging, writing and maintaining test classes for all custom development
  • Creating technical documentation
  • Custom User Interface development, including Visualforce pages / Lightning pages , Aura Components and Lightning Web Components
  • Implementing Salesforce APIs and collaborating with IT / Developers to facilitate integration of Salesforce with other client systems
  • Adherence to Salesforce best practice
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation
  • You may also be expected to perform administrator tasks, such as managing users, constructing data models, and automating processes using declarative tools
  • Collaborating with the Salesforce Administrator to validate business requirements and related considerations (security, scalability etc.)


Qualifications and Background

Required:
  • Salesforce product knowledge and at least 5 years of Salesforce development experience
  • Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certification
  • Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce Lightning Design System and the Salesforce development lifecycle
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with business stakeholders and other team members


Desirable:
  • Strategic view of how code should be written to serve the business aims long term
  • Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g. Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder)


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Required:
  • Experience implementing and developing in Apex, Visualforce / Lightning Web Components and Javascript
  • General web development experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • Ability to interpret, write and critique technical specifications
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Liaison with client stakeholders to gather requirements and present solutions


Desirable:
  • Competency in other languages / development (XML, Flex, .NET, SQL, C++, SOAP-based web services)
  • Experience developing on cloud platforms
  • Active in the Salesforce community
  • Demonstrates continued personal / professional development
