About the Role
Base Location: Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness, Reading or Havant
Salary: £46,626 - £54,154 and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available
As a Product Analyst, youll support the Product Owner and delivery teams, translating the customer needs into high level functional specifications, designs and subsequent development of recommended systems.
Key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Work alongside the Product Owner to elicit requirements, to plan implementation and to answer queries through the development process.
- Oversees delivery of product analysis backlog items across the end-to-end product in an agile environment. Delivery work may include representing and modelling data and information, developing training materials and driving the definition of lean business cases.
- Presents complex business and technical concepts to customers at all levels of the organisation.
- Plans, prioritises, manages, executes and evaluates analysis work on multiple complex projects and/or critical projects.
- Prepares succinct reports, communications and presentations on complex business processes and progression that are tailored to different situations and audiences.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Experience in a similar Product/Business Analysis role focused on supporting business critical/complex systems in a large organization with a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving.
- Ability to assimilate user stories, shape visions, construct roadmaps and develop investment cases for product development coupled with experience working in an agile environment and as part of a multi-disciplinary team - with the ability to take ownership of problems and requests and maintain quality of work even in a pressurised environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to take ownership of requests and issues from all interconnecting and interdependent workstreams to maintain quality of work. Exceptional facilitation skills, ensuring people reach agreement and develop effective work practices.
- Accurately visualise and clearly articulate proposed solutions to business problems and drive broader business outcomes. (Knowledge of relevant Operational Technology systems or experience working in similar industry advantageous).
