We are seeking a dynamic Electrical Engineer who will play a key role in both client engagement and project leadership. In this role, the Electrical Engineer will take charge of the design, execution, and management of electrical projects, overseeing all phases from inception to completion with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will excel in leading projects, offering expert guidance on electrical systems, including electrical distribution, building controls, and energy efficiency. This position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with both internal teams and external clients to deliver successful outcomes.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide engineering support and solutions for new and existing electrical systems. Prepare technical reports in support of assessment findings, recommendations and design solutions. Prepare designs and drawings for HV and LV electrical systems, lighting, life safety etc. including drawings, cost estimates, calculations and schedules.   Develop and manage projects from initiation through to closure, including planning applications, preparation of tender documentation and evaluation of tenders. Supervise and commission assigned projects and ensure proper project hand over, including as-built documentation and occupancy certificates. Keep abreast of current local and international electrical engineering standards, trends. technologies and continually bring leading edge solutions. Take a proactive role in business development by identifying opportunities, preparing fee proposals, and supporting client retention and acquisition efforts. Support the training and development of junior colleagues. Provide support as needed to any areas within the company as required by your line Manager.

Education: A Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent qualification is required. Registered as a Chartered or Professional Engineer and a minimum of ten (10) years overall experience in electrical design and engineering, five (5) years of which shall be post professional designation.
