Senior System Design Engineer

As Senior Systems Design Engineer you will make a significant contribution to the System Design of C4I Systems on our programmes through application of world class Systems Engineering expertise

Typical day to day activities include:

• Requirements analysis
• Interface definition
• Use Case development
• Functional and feature specification,
• Elaboration of designs
• Trade-off analysis and liaison with cross functional teams to develop and regularly deliver working software/solutions.

To be successful in the role you will ideally bring your expertise in the following:

• Broad competence in systems engineering
• Experience in resolving design challenges
• Experience with structured design methods
• Ability to create well-structured technical documents in accordance with a published schedule
• Ability to present formally at progress reviews and contribute productively in meetings with all stakeholders.
• Development of bespoke interfaces and use of open standards interfaces
