Job Title: Project Manager - Delivery

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £56,000 + depending on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

    Leading a team of project professionals within the Integrated Delivery Team to monitor and provide governance on budget, scope and plan adherenceDeveloping, championing and implementing improvement initiatives and management of change controlKey coordinator of functions as part of the Integrated Delivery TeamProvision of accurate reporting on cost and schedule performanceManagement of internal and external stakeholdersYou'll also have people manager responsibilities in this role both direct and indirect
Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

    Previous experience in managing complex projects or programme portfoliosProject Management professional degree or equivalent by experienceExperience in Programme Change ControlPrevious experience using Earned Value Management (EVM)Experience in managing Dependencies, Assumptions, Risks, Exclusions & Opportunities (DAREO)
Desirable:

    Knowledge or experience using project management software tools such as JIRA and Confluence, P6 or Microsoft Projects would be advantageous

The Platform Mechanical for SSNA Project Management team:

The team supports the multi-functional Engineering, Design, Supply Chain, Project Management, Build, and Through Life Support functions of the SSNA Programme Team's Integrated Delivery Team. The team oversees every facet of the program's design, qualification, verification, and execution. They also make sure that the plan, budget, and schedule are followed, and that changes are controlled as needed. In terms of scope, breadth, and opportunity, this team is among the largest Integrated Delivery Teams of the programme and as the team continues to grow, this position will provide opportunities for continued professional advancement within the organisation. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
