What you'll be doing:

Ensuring technical activities are performed in accordance with engineering procedures and that appropriate levels of internal and independent governance are appliedDeveloping, and governing engineering standards and processes to demonstrate SQEP and complianceProviding leadership, guidance and coaching to other engineersSupporting AVC external reviewsDeputise for the Principal Engineer when necessary and as part of personal development

Your skills and experiences:

Degree level qualification in relevant STEM subject (Engineering/ Physics/ Maths/ Science)Engineering lifecycle experience/exposureExperience of working on complex programmesUnderstanding of relevant engineering standards, including safety and environmental regulations

The AVC One team:

This role will provide you with the chance to work on a complex engineering programme of national importance, as well as excellent future career progression and development opportunities. AVC Governance & Assurance enables the effective and efficient delivery of the engineering products of the AVC CAM areas throughout the engineering lifecycle, by driving consistency of approach through mutual assurance, the deployment of plans & processes, whilst facilitating continuous improvement. An ideal opportunity to gain accreditation towards Chartered Engineering status. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
