Ensure build and design intent conformity through verification activities at system and whole boat level for Combat and Strategic Weapons SystemsProducing risk-based project plan to manage assurance activities and conducting targeted inspections with the support of drawings, design specifications and standardsSupporting activities regarding configuration management and the review of concessions impacting design intent in buildCollaborating across functions (Engineering, Operations, Quality etc) and with the Dreadnought Alliance to ensure design intent is metReporting and presenting issues on weekly basis in meetings and at various levels within the businessAssessing build maturity against design in support of various key build stage and hold points along with presenting and providing statements for theseAttending CS Design Integration Facility (CSDIF) and Platform Combat system Release (CSR) Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) (Frimley)Your skills and experiences:Essential:
Degree qualified in Engineering (or working towards), or HNC with suitable experience Technical experience in Safety Assessments of design, evidence capture and risk analysisExperience in Combat or Strategic Weapons systemsWorking knowledge of the engineering lifecycle and be able to apply good practices to your workDesirable:

You will also act as a subject matter expert (SME) for some boat systems product verification, which will entail conducting assurance activities. This unique role will provide you with the opportunity to be involved with one of the UK's most complex, cutting-edge projects, with the chance to work across the whole boat. You will also gain exposure to an extensive range of stakeholder groups and industrial partners.
