As Area Operations Manager reporting to our General Manager, it’ll be your responsibility to manage and maintain resource levels and standards in order to fulfil the requirements of our customers and meet trading expectations, whilst directing, training and motivating the Operational Management Team to achieve agreed targets. Ensuring compliance within the wider framework of health, safety and environmental legislation, ISO 9001/2000 and EN206, you’ll establish and agree with operational budgets in respect of fixed costs and manage and report on accordingly. 

Other key accountabilities as Regional Operations Manager include:
• managing and maintaining the assigned asset base 
• ensuring compliance to all external legislation and company standards 
• maintaining a high degree of market and competitor awareness
• maintaining excellent standards of customer service.
• Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including landlords, suppliers and contractors

With a significant leadership track record within the production/manufacturing sector and ideally with a NEBOSH qualification, you must demonstrate, or be able to acquire quickly, sound technical understanding of our product portfolio to ensure regulatory and quality compliance. Strong on senior level stakeholder management and able to manage multi-discipline teams, you have the business skills to oversee budgets and establish and maintain full financial control. A first-class all-round communicator, presenter and organiser, with demonstrable strategic, planning and delivery capabilities, you can also offer:

• good IT-literacy, especially on MS Office and web applications
• analytical strengths
• robust interpersonal, presentation and influencing skills
• sound knowledge of distribution.
