Our professional and committed team boasts a diversity of skills, technical knowledge and expertise, enabling us to provide cost-effective, high-quality products efficiently. We continually invest in our people, technology and equipment in order to meet the dynamic challenges of the industry and our global customer base.

As Manufacturing Engineer reporting to our Engineering & Quality Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical support and solutions for both new and existing products, equipment and tooling, in addition to pragmatic, project-driven solutions to process engineering issues. With a wide range of responsibilities, you will focus on both day-to-day troubleshooting and optimisation of manufacturing processes, as well as influencing business-critical projects from concept to successful completion and transition into manufacturing through new product introduction.

Other key deliverables include:
• analysing manufacturing data to identify highest priority issues;
• determining root causes and introducing corrective / preventative measures; and
• driving improvements to KPIs such as yield, productivity, scrap, etc.

Educated at least to HNC level in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Aerospace Engineering, you have a proven track record in manufacturing / production within a medium to large precision engineering organisation, ideally in aerospace. With the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, you are highly capable in machine tool and cutting tool specification and application, underpinned by knowledge of precision engineering processes including general machining.

A strong communicator at all levels, with the ability to prioritise and simplify, you are a great problem-solver who can implement containment quickly, and get to root cause preventing recurrence. You are also highly analytical, accountable, consistent in approach and customer-focused.
