The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineering Support Manager that  is responsible for the management and delivery of the UK team, in charge of all core Quality activities within the Operations Engineering domain, ensuring all associated practices in term of tools, processes and techniques are planned, applied and verified, thus  giving confidence to product compliance.   
The Role
  • Manage, lead and develop the team to meet their required activities
  • Work with UK senior Engineering management to determine key activities and projects which will maximize the achievement of business objectives
  • Create , develop and agree core quality activities & measures in response to each project scenario
  • Identify, communicate and mitigate risks andissuesassociated to product quality using root cause and trend analysis techniques
  • Activities such as non-conformance management and conducting management assessments
  • On behalf ofthe Head of Quality OPS Engineering , participate tosenior UK management meetings for Quality related matters

What are we looking for?
  • Experienced quality professionals with broad experience, preferably within an Electronics engineering domain.
  • Strong ability to lead activities and actions.
  •  Excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate at all levels whilst respecting cultural differences.
  • Strong analytical skills and in depth understanding of quality techniques and measurements.
  • Sound knowledge of Engineering and Product lifecycles.
  • Focused on mentoring and developing others, leading the continued development and sustainment of a quality culture within the Engineering teams.
  • Work under your own initiative and be able to demonstrate adaptability, flexibility in carrying out this role.
