Operations Maintenance Support Manager

Would you like to join a new and exciting Function and support the Operations teams across Land (UK)? We currently have a vacancy for a Maintenance Support Manager based across our various Land (UK) sites.

As an Operations Maintenance Support Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the analysis and development of current production processes in order to deploy effective maintenance regimes.

You will be supporting the Business Transformation Programme and the Growth Agenda, working with both current and future state requirements, as we look to develop and expand upon Land (UK)s product and process portfolio.

This role will provide you with an opportunity to join a business area which is at the beginning of an exciting growth and transformation period.

Your main responsibilities as an Operations Maintenance Support Manager will involve:

Leading a collaborative and effective programme of improvement, associated with maintenance in support of Overall Equipment Efficiency

Providing support and guidance, but also appropriate levels of governance, in order to drive a step change in performance followed by a steady improvement gradient

Leading the development, deployment and sustainment of a new, more effective approach to maintenance across the manufacturing sites of Land (UK)

Driving high levels of availability for all critical process plant and equipment via the application of best practice

Supporting the Strategy and Manufacturing Systems team with the introduction of new approaches, to maintenance, including Reliability Centred Maintenance and Condition Based Maintenance

Identifying ageing / incapable processes that could be made redundant via the completion of feasibility studies and successful submissions to the Investment Board

Leading a development programme that grows an effective Maintenance competence within Land (UK)

Implementing processes and systems to improve the levels of self-help across the organisation

Your skills and qualifications:

Essential:

  • Extensive knowledge in production and manufacturing processes
  • Experience in lean manufacturing techniques
  • Experience in maintenance regimes and best practice
  • Sound understanding of overall equipment effectiveness

Desirable:

  • Knowledge in operational and Statistical process control
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0

You will have excellent communication skills and feel confident engaging with customers and stakeholders of various levels of seniority. You will be organised and proactive and work efficiently to strict deadlines and budgets.

Location: Various

Salary: £38,000+
