Training Services, F35 Autonomic Logistics Information Systems Instructor
Would you like to be involved in development and delivery of training solutions for the Lightning II programme platform and equipment? We currently have a vacancy for Lightning II Autonomic Logistics Information Systems (ALIS) Instructors at the UK Integrated Training Centre at RAF Marham.
As an ALIS Instructor, you will be working within the team responsible for delivering theoretical and practical training as well as supporting the design of the training solutions. As part of the design aspects you will be involved in helping to shape solutions to ensure training is part of a fully integrated capability that supports operational requirements and integrates new teaching methodologies and technologies. From a delivery perspective you will be responsible for delivering training using the latest emulation/ simulation technology directly to our Customers.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Lightning II program, a leading edge capability, as it enters into service with the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy.
Your main responsibilities as an Autonomic Logistics Information Systems Instructor will involve:
Providing ALIS academic instruction and demonstrations, monitoring computer based training, conducting mobile training and carrying out testing and evaluation
Being responsible for technical content of maintenance applicable courseware and any courseware development and revisions
Conducting remedial student training and revising and developing student training lesson plans and associated training materials
Reviewing test analysis and critique summaries, to identify instruction and testing that requires revision, and making recommended revisions
Coordinating lesson revision inputs with the Maintenance Instructor Lead, other instructors and courseware subcontractors
Participating as requested in Safety Investigation Board (SIB), and Accident Investigation Board (AIB), proceedings as directed by the PSI Lead
Your skills and qualifications:
Military background and level of experience within an operational maintenance environment and working level experience of ALIS or other maintenance management and logistic control systems (.e.g. ESS, Maintenix)
An existing level of instructional experience and be qualified to a minimum equivalent of Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) level 3 in instructional techniques
Experience working on platforms with US MIL Standard maintenance systems would be of benefit
