Senior Software Developer

Would you like to be developing and maintaining a suite of products that support the RAFs most advanced combat aircraft? We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Software Developer at our site in Warton.

As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing a suite of products that make up the engineering support package for the Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft. - Systems Build, Integration & Test Teams.

This role will provide you with a good opportunity to implement new features and get exposure to the business.

Your main responsibilities as a Senior Software Developer will involve:

Analysing system requirements to influence the software design and contribute to project planning

Implementing and configure new functionality ensuring a maintainable code base

Producing Unit/Module Tests & Software Documents with the appropriate coverage

Providing software support to the Systems Build, Integration & Test Teams during formal qualification activities

Your skills and qualifications:


Experienced with C# and VB6

Relational Databases experience

Degree in Software Development/Engineering or equivalent


User Interface Design (WPF/Winforms)

Source Control Configuration (preferably Clearcase)


Fast Jet experience/knowledge

Application Development Experience

Salary: £35,660+
