Fixed Term Contract for 2 years with possibility of extension (multiple posts are available)

WMG at the University of Warwick has been awarded an Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) Prosperity Partnership with Jaguar Land Rover.  These awards seek to bring together researchers in business and academia to tackle strategic issues. The research in this Partnership will address the emerging challenges for vehicle electrification - batteries, power electronics, electric machines, and bearing and gear materials and surfaces. 

WMG is seeking a number of talented researchers to join its new Prosperity Partnership team headed by Professor Barbara Shollock. This strategic partnership between WMG and Jaguar Land Rover offers an exciting opportunity for engagement in joint academic-industrial projects in the area of vehicle electrification.

With a PhD (or nearing completion) in Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics/Computer Science, or a Materials-related field, you will be keen to apply your knowledge to electric vehicles. We are looking for people with skills in modelling and/or experimental work.
