The Opportunity
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within Electronic Engineering in the UK for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who is looking to broaden their technical and leadership skills across multiple projects.
 
The Role
As a Test and Evaluation Proving Team Lead, your role will be to manage a team of proving engineers and deliver the development proving activities for products across one or more projects. This will encompass the preparation, conducting and reporting of Integration, EMC and Environmental trials. These activities will need to be agreed with the Domain Leads as well as the Test Houses to ensure that there is a coherent plan across the UK Operations Directorate.   In order to achieve this there will be a high level of stakeholder management required.

  • Experience of the Proving process associated methodologies is essential.
  • Someone with a high degree of self-motivation and drive, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Very good interpersonal skills and influencing skills.
  • To be able to negotiate with the various stakeholders in order to ensure that the Technical Requirements are of a sufficient quality and are provable.
  • An appreciation of Electronics technologies and the sorts of products that MBDA (UK) design and produces would be an advantage.
