Asset Integrity Lead
As the Asset Integrity Lead you will ensure the effective leadership, planning, organisation, and operation of the asset integrity group, delivering a fully fit for purpose Asset Integrity regime throughout all stages of asset life cycle eliminating unplanned events and uncontrolled release of materials.
The Asset Integrity Lead is accountable for definition, budget, and execution of the topsides asset integrity programmes; static equipment inspection, anomaly rectification, fabric maintenance and associated processes and procedures.
In this key position you will provide leadership to the asset integrity team and site execution contractors, ensuring compliance with statutory regulation and company policies and standards and be the primary point of contact for operating units and technical function with regard to all operational asset integrity issues.
To define, manage and control the asset integrity budget, ensure integrity programmes are included in annual and long range plan and are fully supported by appropriate budget and resource requirements is at the core of the role as is managing 3rd party asset integrity support contracts.
You will be the point of contact for regulatory bodies (HSE) and third party partners regarding asset integrity issues and be challenged with implementing a UK asset integrity management system incorporating a comprehensive set of procedures to address asset integrity risk, relative to asset remaining life. To develop and update the Risk Based Inspection (RBI) programme, ensuring asset integrity work is scheduled within the maintenance management system is key as you develop and implement a fabric maintenance strategy to maintain assets in a safe and reliable condition.
Supporting the development and implementation of anomaly rectification strategies and execution plans with other groups is required as is ensuring continuous review and improvement of asset integrity processes, procedures, standards, specifications and work practices, communicating output from asset integrity programmes to management.
In this role you will work with the technical function to ensure continuous improvement and fit for purpose specifications and standards are applied and safe and timely implementation of the topside asset integrity programmes in accordance with asset integrated activity plans (90 day and 28 day). As an asset integrity professional you will Implement asset integrity Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), to demonstrate regulatory and internal compliance, measurement of ‘risk’ and complimentary to maintenance management metrics and ensure projects / MOC’s (new / modified equipment), are incorporated within the asset integrity programme, and that new projects incorporate asset integrity requirements and industry best practice.
You will come into this role with very strong operational knowledge (significant experience in engineering and operations) of the upstream or other high hazard industry, underpinned by substantial experience. The ideal candidate will have experience of running operations in an aging asset and significant experience within asset integrity; RBI programmes, inspection, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Fitness for Service assessment, Non-Invasive Inspection (NII) programmes.
You will be educated to degree level with Incorporated / Chartered Engineer status with an understanding of entire chain integration including design, procurement, construction, operation, maintenance, inspection, testing and repair etc.
You will be a safety leader demonstrating visible leadership; carrying out frequent personal and process safety oriented site visits which engage the workforce and contractors.
With the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal customers and external regulatory bodies you will be conversant with the UK regulatory environment.
