Deliver critical electrical projects around the world

You’ll be responsible for the design and management of a wide range of overseas electrical, projects, typically up to £1m in value. Throughout each project, you will be liaising closely with customers, stakeholders and end users to ensure you deliver a final product that meets their needs. Some projects may also involve you leading a multi-disciplinary team from inception through design, tendering and on-site supervision, to completion. Another key part of the role is to act as a subject matter expert, providing colleagues and contractors across the organisation with electrical engineering guidance and advice.

Find new ways to apply your project management skills

We’re looking for a Chartered Electrical Engineer with membership of IET, CIBSE or equivalent and proven experience of managing major projects from inception through to completion. This should include specific experience of delivering estates and security/IT projects of medium to large complexity. Good awareness of budget and resource management is essential, and knowledge of contract administration would be a definite advantage. It’s also important that you have strong communication and relationship-building skills and the ability to understand, capture and define your clients’ objectives. You must be willing and able to travel overseas, sometimes at short notice.
